Welcome to Astro Vedic Kundali ("the App"), a Vedic astrology mobile application developed and operated by Auriferous Technologies LLP ("we", "us", "our", "the Company"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Auriferous Technologies LLP.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Description of Services

Astro Vedic Kundali provides the following services:

  • Kundali Generation: Birth chart (Janam Kundali) generation with planetary positions, house placements, Dashas, and Yogas.
  • Daily Horoscope: Personalized horoscope and astrological insights based on your birth chart.
  • Matchmaking: Ashtakoota compatibility analysis (Gun Milan) for prospective partners.
  • Panchang & Choghadiya: Daily Panchang with Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and Choghadiya Muhurat timings.
  • Sadhana Tracker: Spiritual practice logging, intention setting (Sankalp), remedy tracking, and mantra counter.
  • Samvaad (Live Consultation): Real-time chat consultations with Vedic astrologers.
  • Astrology Diary: Personal journal for astrological observations and spiritual experiences.
  • Multi-Language Support: Available in 9+ Indian regional languages.

4. Important Disclaimer — Nature of Astrological Content

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

The astrological content, predictions, interpretations, and guidance provided through the App are based on traditional Vedic astrology principles and are provided strictly for informational, educational, entertainment, and spiritual guidance purposes only.

The astrological content provided through the App:

  • Does NOT constitute professional, medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
  • Should NOT be used as a substitute for professional consultation with qualified experts in any field.
  • Should NOT be relied upon for making important life decisions, including but not limited to medical treatments, financial investments, legal matters, or relationship decisions.
  • Is NOT guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific circumstances.

We strongly recommend that you seek appropriate professional advice for any matters requiring expert guidance. You acknowledge and agree that any reliance on astrological content is at your own risk.

5. User Accounts

5.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by signing in with your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5.2 Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account and using the App.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Not share your account with others or allow others to use your account.
  • Not create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.

5.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time using the in-app account deletion feature. Upon deletion, your cloud-stored data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Locally stored data will be removed when you uninstall the App.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

6.1 Purchases

The App may offer in-app purchases and premium subscriptions. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

6.2 Pricing

Prices for in-app purchases and subscriptions are displayed within the App and may vary by region. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing active subscriptions until the renewal date.

6.3 Subscription Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.

6.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple or Google for refund inquiries:

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or astrologers during consultations.
  • Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure.
  • Circumvent any access controls, security features, or usage restrictions.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Use the App to provide commercial astrology services without our written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, software code, astrological algorithms, data compilations, and user interface design — are the exclusive property of Auriferous Technologies LLP or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or its content.
  • Use the App's branding, logos, or trademarks without written permission.
  • Republish or redistribute astrological content generated by the App for commercial purposes.

9. User-Generated Content

Content you create within the App (diary entries, consultation messages, Sadhana logs) remains your property. However, by using the App, you grant us a limited license to process and store this content as necessary to provide our services.

For consultation messages (Samvaad), you acknowledge that these messages are shared with the assigned astrologer and may be reviewed for quality assurance purposes.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (Google Sign-In, Firebase, payment processors). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any astrological content, predictions, or interpretations.
  • In no event shall Auriferous Technologies LLP, its partners, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 (INR One Thousand), whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Auriferous Technologies LLP and its partners, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights.
  • Any content you submit or transmit through the App.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including but not limited to cases of:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
  • Prolonged inactivity.
  • Request by law enforcement or government agencies.

Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) shall continue to apply.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you must stop using the App.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved as follows:

  1. Amicable Resolution: The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation within 30 days.
  2. Mediation: If negotiation fails, the parties shall attempt mediation before a mutually agreed mediator.
  3. Jurisdiction: If mediation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Auriferous Technologies LLP regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
